Is anyone using MX on Kubuntu?

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Is anyone using MX on Kubuntu?

Post by Greg_M »

Is it even possible?
I'm currently using Kubuntu 18.04 and have been using Kubuntu for a number of generations (which does not mean I'm a pro at it by any means).

Anyone?

Yes it will work fine, read up on how to install it here viewtopic.php?f=27&t=12908
The default mono package will work fine, I don't connect mine by USB but I believe that should not be a problem with your version it should detect it without any additional packages.

Thanks! I don't use Kubuntu but another Linux variant and was afraid I'd have compatibility issues.
