CumulusMX v3.0.0 build 3046

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

I always just copy the files over that have been changed according to what has been written in the update post.

I've done it ever since I copied the whole thing over without thinking, and it completely messed everything up.

The reason I had errors was due to the fact I hadn't updated from the previous versions. I went straight from 3043 to b3046, so I only read the last post.

This was my problem also, didn't realise the updates were cumulative, and tried to jump a version.

Something else on your system had /home/cumulus/CumulusMX/web/winddata.json open at the time Cumulus was trying to write to it.

Hi

Currently running build 3043. What do I have to do to upgrade to build 3046? What files/folders to I need to copy to my existing mx folder?

Everything from each update apart from the /web folder was my solution that worked.

I have build 3046 and I'm using Microsoft edge on windows 10. The diary isn't working right. It either won't save the entry or when it does it puts it in the wrong day. I made an entry for the 17th that finally stayed, so I went to the 18th and made an entry and it saved it but put it on the 16th, with nothing in the 18th. Hope that makes sense. Thanks. Nice program.

I'm having trouble with the diary either not saving, or when it does it saves to wrong date. Thanks.

I'll take a look, but I need more details. What time zone are you in, what locale are you using?

I'm in the U.S. Eastern time zone. Is that what you mean by locale?

As posted earlier in this thread, when I enter the data and save, then the data is displayed in the previous calendar day. I use diary for snow falling and depth only. I have learned that yesterday's data be entered today and that way it all gets recorded in the diary on the correct day (just one day behind in the entered data which is ok for me as I make a manual note for my daily CoCoRaHS reports anyway so have it available for entering tomorrow - the diary will not allow to enter on the next date).

I am North America/Toronto EST (UTC -5).

Enjoy,
Paul

Under settings I have no options for time and date. Just station, internet, and the others. Don't see time and date under stations either. thx
