Welcome to the Cumulus Support forum.
Latest Cumulus MX V4 release 4.0.1 (build 4023) - 16 May 2024
(Note that 4.1.0 (build 4024) - 05 June 2024 remains available, but usage of this version is not recommended - particularly for Davis stations - and the included utility in this distribution for migrating to v4 is known to contain errors affecting conversion of dayfile.txt)
Latest Cumulus MX V3 release 3.28.6 (build 3283) - 21 March 2024
Legacy Cumulus 1 release 1.9.4 (build 1099) - 28 November 2014
(a patch is available for 1.9.4 build 1099 that extends the date range of drop-down menus to 2030)

Re: New Cumulus Home
Good tip - maybe other people with the "slow" problem could click "Mark all read" from the "unread" list, or "Mark forums read" from the main index.

Re: New Cumulus Home
Hi Mark it just seemed strange (and I know nothing about web pages or the sites) that if you were not logged in the site was as quick as you like, but as soon as you signed in you got 15 second delay before anything else happened, I cleared the cookies from the site which logged me off then logged back in and the unread messages were showing that large figure so clicked on that and the site is how it should be.... normal...

Re: New Cumulus Home
Until you log in you are an anonymous user so the forum doesn't know which messages you have read and which you haven't. Once logged in it does know, and maybe trying to fetch some enormous list of unread from the DB?

Re: Smilies keep disappearing !
I haven't seen this, personally. Next time it happens could you get a screenshot, or possibly open developer console and look for errors?
Apparently that is a known issue - although again I haven't seen it personally.beteljuice wrote: ↑Tue 28 Apr 2020 11:23 pmalso sometimes there is a 'flash' of php bulletin board before CU logo
