Welcome to the Cumulus Support forum.
Latest Cumulus MX V4 release 4.0.1 (build 4023) - 16 May 2024
(Note that 4.1.0 (build 4024) - 05 June 2024 remains available, but usage of this version is not recommended - particularly for Davis stations - and the included utility in this distribution for migrating to v4 is known to contain errors affecting conversion of dayfile.txt)
Latest Cumulus MX V3 release 3.28.6 (build 3283) - 21 March 2024
Legacy Cumulus 1 release 1.9.4 (build 1099) - 28 November 2014
(a patch is available for 1.9.4 build 1099 that extends the date range of drop-down menus to 2030)

2,000 days running Cumulus!
Today is a landmark for my station. 2,000 days ago on 10 May 2009 I loaded Cumulus and started keeping records.
In all that time I've only had a 2 day spell when I lost wind data when my anemometer broke. Cumulus has been superb in all that time. My trusty Samsung NC10 running XP continues to work well.
I know Steve will have been recording longer but I wonder how long all of you have been running Cumulus.
Congratulations Steve on producing a great piece of software.

Re: 2,000 days running Cumulus!
HI Ray, got you beat by 199 days - running Cumulus since Oct 23, 2008
Got my VP2 in July 2008 and have WU history from July 26, 2008 http://komokaweather.com/komokaweather- ... s=M&mode=3 initially using Weatherlink to upload to WU, then found Cumulus which was/is perfect for me - thanks Steve
p.s. Lost the little debris screen and changed the ISS battery once on the VP2, because, otherwise the station has been performing well through heat, cold, rain, shine, snow and sleet.

Another old timer eh Paul? Glad to hear your kit has stood up so well in that harsh climate.
I'm still on the original Duracell batteries both ISS and anemometer tx.

Well done Tony down there in Mobberley.
Seems this is a hot area for Cumulus with you and Mark up the road in Wilmslow.

2,500 days running Cumulus!
My station reached another milestone today - 2500 days of continuous recording by Cumulus.
One day I will probably move up to CumulusMX but for now the original remains and runs as well on day 2500 as it did on day 1.

Re: 2,000 days running Cumulus!
Hi guys.
Cumulus and FOSH since June 3rd 2008.
Not without its trials and heartbreak but heh-ho.
The trusty HP laptop is now 18 years old and still running too.
Record breakers or what ?

Re: 2,000 days running Cumulus!
hi chris.
dont know if it holds charge for more than enough time to shut it down.
its set up in low power mode so everything off after 2 minutes.
i read the screen remotely or on the website as the screen is pixelated badly.
got a Pi ready to replace it but hopefully not for some time.
OK on Adelaide, England with sunshine?
got family in Melbourne and Sydney

I hit 2,500 days with Cumulus today.
