Latest Cumulus MX V4 release 4.0.1 (build 4023) - 16 May 2024

(Note that 4.1.0 (build 4024) - 05 June 2024 remains available, but usage of this version is not recommended - particularly for Davis stations - and the included utility in this distribution for migrating to v4 is known to contain errors affecting conversion of dayfile.txt)

Legacy Cumulus 1 release 1.9.4 (build 1099) - 28 November 2014

SteelSeries Installation Problems

Post by apple8 »

Struggling with the installation of SteelSeries gauges. Believe I have the files in the right place but I have no images on the gauges page, web pages are not displaying correctly and the NOAA page has gone. No doubt I made an error somewhere.

I have added two screenshots, so if I can be pointed in the right direction it would be a help.

Thanks in advance

Your gauges-ss page seems to be working OK to me? (minus the graphs)

Your main site is missing the default CSS though - http://www.blazingcomet.com/weather/weatherstyle.css

Slowly working through issues, it appears that the css files disappeared in the initial upload. Web pages now displaying and gauges showing.

I have come to a stop though on displaying the inside readings etc on the buttons under the gauges although the data is showing on the graphs. The buttons toggle but the gauges don't change.

So more help needed please.

The indoor temp/humidity is something I have broken in the latest script update. I'll have a look at fixing it...

I have posted version 2.5.14 of the gauges which fixes the issues introduced in version 2.5.13.

(who would have thought giving functions names would cause the issues it did - I need to find out why... I have my suspicions about the namespace being overwritten...)

Given the trouble I got into the first time, do I have to go the whole process again or is there only a file or so that has to be updated.
