Saved month.ini and year.ini files

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

Saved month.ini and year.ini files

Post by steve »

Could some of you please have a look in your data folder to see whether Cumulus has named the saved copies of month.ini and year.ini correctly? They should be month201512.ini and year2015.ini, but mine are month201601.ini and year2016.ini. Note that this is in build 3035 and later.

I'm thinking this may be because I use an 0900 rollover - I attempted to cater for this in the code, but it may be that I didn't do it correctly. It would help me to know whether everyone is affected or just the 0900 start of day users. It may also be different depending on whether you had MX running overnight or not, so please mention that in your reply, along with whether you us a midnight or 0900 start of day.

Thanks.

Hi

I'm running 3036 on an old Raspberry Pi (wheezy). CumulusMX was running overnight with a midnight rollover. My files are named correctly - i.e. year2015.ini and month201512.ini.

Hope this helps.

Ed

P.S. I am a new user - got an Aercus WS3083 (a.k.a. Fine Offset WH3081) as a Christmas gift. Your software is great! Thanks....

Looks like just a problem with 0900 starts, then. Thanks, all.

I have experienced the same, and I have an 0900 roll-over.

Rename them, and hopefully I'll have the fixed version out before the end of the month. More confident about the end of the year...

build 3036 midnight rollover, named correctly, but just wondered about the odd (random) time stamp?
