Hi,
The wind speeds have been steadily climbing this morning. Just had a gust of 69mph.
Pressure has just ticked up. Looks like the worst is just about to arrive here as my station comes under the SW quadrant of the low.
cheers,
Bill.
Welcome to the Cumulus Support forum.
Latest Cumulus MX V4 release 4.0.1 (build 4023) - 16 May 2024
(Note that 4.1.0 (build 4024) - 05 June 2024 remains available, but usage of this version is not recommended - particularly for Davis stations - and the included utility in this distribution for migrating to v4 is known to contain errors affecting conversion of dayfile.txt)
Latest Cumulus MX V3 release 3.28.6 (build 3283) - 21 March 2024
Legacy Cumulus 1 release 1.9.4 (build 1099) - 28 November 2014

Re: Breezy again....
The gusts have dropped to the mid thirties.
The low must be moving in a more northerly direction than I thought.
How disappointing.
Still that's a new gust record for the year here.
cheers,
Bill.

Re: Breezy again....
Be careful what you wish for as they say.
It's still raining but not as heavy as a few hours ago.
The pressure is falling at ~4mb/hour now and it is getting breezy again.
Forecast is for it to get quite frisky here through midnight and the wee hours....
Batten down the hatches.
Cheers,
Bill.

Re: Breezy again....
Blustery showers now.
Last night wasn't too bad, a couple of hours with gusts in the mid 50's mph.
Tossed a few wheely bins around but nothing more.
cheers,
Bill.

Re: Breezy again....
A fair point,
Simply because I don't have one!, I just upload the data to the WOW website and monitor it from there myself.
If you want to look at the graphs search for Kilwinning Weather (1910303) on the WOW site.
cheers,
Bill.
PS. even the site listed on the wow site doesn't work due to server restrictions where I work, something to do with VPN's and timeouts and a whole host of stuff I just don't understand....
