Weatherlink LIVE - CUMULUS
Hello all,
sorry for sure my stupid question....
and then I also apologize for my not so perfect English ;-(((
I'm tinkering with switching from the old Cumulus to the new CumulusMX, and I'd like to use my WLL (Weatherlink Live) in that case, too.
I can't get a connection to my WLL, what am I doing wrong? If I enter the IP address from the Weatherlink live page, this should work, or ?????
Or do I have a basic thought error ????

Re: Weatherlink LIVE - CUMULUS
Yes, that should be the correct IP address to use.
You could also try enabling Auto-Discovery.
Then attach the latest MXdiags log file for us to take a look at.

Auto-discovery is in: Settings > Station Settings > Davis WeatherLink Live > Network Settings
Just tick the box.
Enable debug logging: Settings > Program Settings > Logging Options
Restart Cumulus, let it run for 5 mins, then attach the latest dated log file in your /MXdiags folder

That looks good.it seems to have done something, however, I must still enter something in the university ???
Now open a new browser and enter http://localhost:8998/ or http://10.211.55.4:8998/
and you should get your CumulusMX dashboard. Is this working?
For historical data to be available you will need a Weatherlink.com Pro subscription.
Enjoy,
Paul

Re: Weatherlink LIVE - CUMULUS
I believe that on initial CumulusMX setup and start there is no catch up of historical data as CMX does not yet know when data was started on Weatherlink.com.
Enjoy,
Paul
