First off, please move this is need be. I am not certain where it is best to ask this question.
My current setup is a wired VP2-Pro. Connected to a data-logger connected to my personal server. Everything (Sql db, website, ect) hosted locally.
Along with purchasing a Davis Airlink system to get air quality data, I am looking into a lightning detection system. It doesn't need to be something that ties into a national network; local strikes are fine. Obviously, I want it to interface successfully with CMX so that I can view the data on the dashboard as well as my website.
Any suggestions are welcomed.

Re: Lightning Detection
Dazza, okay thank you. I had briefly looked on Ecowitt's site the other day since I knew they had some lightning detection products. But again, with no further knowledge, I didn't really know if I was looking in the right place! It seems simple enough. And easy to integrate into Cumulus?

Re: Lightning Detection
No.
You can run 1 CMX with a Davis VP2 for example, and then select an Ecowitt lightning detector as an extra sensor.
