Cumulus, Rainfal problem (Resolved)

Post by Geremia Forino »

A greeting to all,

I'm new to the forum and I need your help, I don't know exactly since, as I can't understand it from the logs, I have no longer had Rainfal, Daily, Monthly and Annual data, No change as been done since everting was working fine, I had doubts about the sensor but, from the site of the Weatherlink, when I add water, the count works. Could you help me and direct me on how to make a better diagnosis?

thanks in advance

Oh dear, it looks like you have a network or firewall issue.

Cumulus MX is not receiving any broadcast packets from your WeatherLink Live. They could be being blocked at your router, or by the firewall on your computer.

Cumulus is also unable to access your station on weatherlink.com - "WeatherLink API Error: 403, Access is not authorized for station 96404"

Does the WeatherLink phone app go into "Live" mode when you are connected to your local network?

Yes Mark, I connect te IP and port number and I'm live on the app, everything is updating every 3 seconds but the rain is not updating

The first is Weatherlink live, as you can see, montly rain and annual rain

The second is cumulus = zero rain

Please switch on debug logging, and data logging. Let Cumulus continue to run for a while, preferably with a rain tip, then attach the MXdiags log file again.

Good morning Mark,

It looks like the problem as been solved, I have rain displaying again on Cumulus, I cleaned the cup of the rain sensor gently with a bottle of water, during the night started to rain and this morning all the values are looking normally again.
