Not sure if this has been discussed about replacement of the wind bearing Cartridge for Davis VP.
Mine stop spinning kinda been doing it for a while tried cleaning it but only last for a while, so I got a new one off amazon for $20 US and was very easy to install. Set screw for the cups and 1 phillips screw that held it in. Dont know if this is an updated part from Davis as it seem to be built better to protect the bearings from the weather.

I had to replace the cartridge in mine recently and the new cartridge is a different design to the older one. Probably a design flaw corrected I would imagine.

I bought mine from a Davis-approved company here in England. Never bothered looking on Amazon.
