Rainfall discrepancy

Setting up my VP2 today all data seems ok but the rain for the day since I installed is displaying 0.4mm in cumulus max while on the console displays 1.4mm any idea why this is or if I configured something wrong?
On Today’s rain editor on max the rain counter was correct at 1.4 but the today’s rain showed 0.4.. I modified to 1.4 now the correct value is that the correct way to go about? My new station only been up for 3h now.
