It does look like something is wrong with the date formats in the day file.

I assume it is ok just to correct the date to 2019 and not 2020?

Er no ....
Hard to tell from the screenshot,
but there is a group of readings (03/12/20 > 17/12/20) which seem to be duplicated at least twice and even if they are really yr 19 they are stitched out of order in the middle of valid data.

Some serious search and destroy I'm afraid.

It must be all data, not just solar that are affected, but that is bye-the-bye.

You don't say when the station was installed - Is Dec yr 19 a valid date ?

The important thing - is new / current data being correctly recorded ?

If it is, then we must assume there was some sort of a glitch.

Just send a copy of my post to your IT and tell them as well as incorrect duplicate entries, entries should be in date order ...

@beteljuice its about 7 years old. We ran on Cumulus but changed to MX in March of this year. We have 2 Davis VP2 running and the other one is not showing the problem, I have a VP2 at home so I'll sen a copy of my data to the IT to show them what the data should look like. Thanks for your help.
