VP2 & Wifi Logger - no Cumulus data

I took delivery of my wifi logger 2 today, and have succesfully set this up, so the information is being received. Until now I have been using the Weatherlink software to store my archived records, and using the newly created IP address, can download the data to Weatherlink no problems.

However I really want to move to Cumulus. Cumulus was working fine using the old Serial -> USB Cable, however I have reinstalled on a new computer, input into Cumulus my station settings etc, including the IP address under Davis Settings and... nothing. Cumulus shows that it is running, but no data is being displayed.

Can anybody suggest where I am going wrong? I did read that Cumulus cannot run concurrently with Weatherlink - but Weatherlink is not running currently.

Run cumulus with the "-debug" command line parameter, and then zip up the log file and post it please.

Don't you just hate it when you post a question, get an answer.. then everything starts working by itself again?

Needless to say when I started Cumulus again today, then the data downloaded and everything is appearing as it should... with one exception!

Because I am just starting to get Cumulus up and running (with a not too distant plan of swapping over my PC running 24 x 7 with a Raspberry Pi, and setting up my own page),I want to make sure that everything is working the way I want it too first.

Cumulus is showing erroneous data for Sunrise/Sunset data. It is currently showing as follows :

Sunrise 15:53 Sunset 03:59 Moonrise 11:24 Moonset 23:45

I've checked the latitude and longitude settings on my station, and they are correctly set up. A comparison to the Weatherlink software, and the times are completely different (and accurate).

Any ideas what can be causing this?

What time zone is your computer using? Are the lat/long settings correct in Cumulus.ini? I can't think of any other explanations for sunrise and sunset times being out.

My bad sorry!! I assumed Cumulus imported the longitude/latitude from the station, rather than having to update this as part of the set-up. Still learning!!!!
