Hi all,
We just moved into a new house and have a whole new internet connection, router, etc. Everything. Our station has been offline for a few weeks.
I have hooked our Vantage Vue up to the router and everything looks good except that I can not find the IP address to configure Cumulus. Tons of searching and memory recollection have not yielded any results. I have even gone through all the IP addresses listed and nothing will connect.
Anyone have any ideas?
TIA!!

Re: IP Address Questions?
So, I figured out the IP issue only to find another issue.....
I can not see my weather station from Cumulus. The CAT 5 cable from the base station to the router is good. I have tested it.
Any ideas?

Windows firewall blocking it? Try switching the firewall off and see if you can see it. Try pinging it from the PC using a Command prompt if you now know the IP address.

Re: IP Address Questions?
You could try an IP scanner to see all devices on your network.
I use 'Advanced IP Scanner' (its free!)

Re: IP Address Questions?
I think I got it.
Funny, I had to change the buad rate to 19,200 (per Davis support) and everything magically started working.
File this away for future knowledge.
