I decided to set the console clock to 1am in the ini file.

After looking at my logs, I see this:

2019-04-17 01:00:28.314 Console time set OK
2019-04-17 01:00:48.432 !!! loop data not received, bytes received = 0
2019-04-17 01:01:00.444 !!! loop data not received, bytes received = 0
2019-04-17 01:01:14.486 !!! loop data not received, bytes received = 0

It does that every time the console time is set.

The other thing i've noticed, is that my reception stats reset twice. It does it at midnight, but then when I check at 1:15am, it has reset again.

Yes, setting the time on the console is costly in processing power, it will not respond on the serial interface for some time whilst it processes the new time. Setting the time also always resets the reception stats.

Ah ok. It all makes sense now.

That puts my mind at rest. :)

Back again..

I have no idea what is going on with my console, but I always have an issue when the clocks go forward or back.

In March, it never went forward, so I manually did it.

This time, the clock did go back at 2am. However, when it got to 2am again, it went back to 1am for a second time. I haven't touched any setting on the console since I bought it, only to correct the time when it has failed to go forward or back. :groan:

My console is no longer connected to a PC now that I have a WLL. However, I have only just noticed that the clock didn't go forward on it, again.

It's no longer an issue, thankfully. I just find it incredibly strange that it will not move back or forward by itself, despite having daylight savings set to on and auto, and timezone set to GMT.

The console was flashed to the latest firmware, and I reset it not long ago.
