Cumulus 2 Alpha

Post by Meteonoord »

Hi there,

I'll have Cumulus version 1.8.8
I'm also using VVP with TCP/IP settings.

So far so good.

The question is :

1. Do I have to install Cumulus 2 in the same map as the 1.8.8 version ?
2. How to install the TCP/IP settings ?
3. I don't wanna lose my data !

How to handle ?

Regards

Bert

Same map? I don't know what that means. You just install it, you don't get to choose where it goes at the moment.
2. How to install the TCP/IP settings ?
The version I've uploaded doesn't support connecting via TCP/IP, but the next version does (available possibly later this week).
3. I don't wanna lose my data !
While obviously there are no guarantees, and you should take backups, Cumulus 2 keeps its data completely separately from Cumulus 1, so your existing data won't be affected.
