Hi! Anyone else having problems with Windows 10 x86 and SiLabs CP210x driver? I have downloaded the latest from their website but the driver wont install correctly, gives an yellow exclamation mark

I had similar with Win7 and as far as I can remember, in Device Manager go to update driver on the device showing exclamation mark, select Browse my computer for driver software, select Let me select from a list of device drivers, show compatible hardware box should be ticked, and what you want should be in that list, if I have it right. The unrecognised devise will then appear under Port - Com & LPT

I had similar problem as apple8. Fixed it same way and the upgrade to win10 pro worked without a problem no issues with the. Serial/USB driver. I have since switched to runnning MX on Raspberry Pi

Thanks for all Your answers! There was something wrong in the registry, i uninstalled drivers, installed Win 10 compatible drivers and so on, then i tried it in an other Win 10 computer and it worked there so I re-installed my computer and got it right that way (got rid of other problems at the same time
)
