Couple of questions in setting up Vantage Vue

Followed advice on here, setting station initially with weatherlink, no problems at all, got the data showing nicely.

1st Question, i would like to start from scratch data wise, mainly because of several erroneous errors this year in measurements, i dont mind losing 4 years of date, how do I go about it?

2nd Question, as said, communicating with weatherlink fine, when i go to start cumulus, set the correct station, it comes up with error 32701 while trying to initialise the station. Please check your connections and settings?

Delete the contents of the data folder. See the FAQ - http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#How_do ... scratch.3F

Are you stopping WL before starting Cumulus? Is it a USB logger - have you installed the virtual serial drivers and are connecting in serial mode in Weatherlink, as in the FAQ? http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#How_do ... Cumulus.3F

Steve

A few years back, I lost a very good friend to the evil that is cancer, he was a PC repair specialist, and on his gravestone are the initials of the words he used with some of his clients, when they asked dumb questions

He is probably thinking the same about me right now, all sorted, up and running, and apologies

Hi Rob, you have low and high red sectors meeting in the middle! They depict your all-time high and low pressure records. As you ave cleared all your data you don't have any records to speak of so the gap between the sectors will open up as you record new records. You could go and populate your low/high records with some values from your old data if you want the gauge to look right.

Yep, your gauge needle will effectively push those red sectors back as it swings back and forth!
