Where is Last 24hr rain stored

had major upset with rain guage, need to find where the last 24hr rain data is stored so I can alter it

It's not stored anywhere, because it's not a single value, it's constantly calculated dynamically from the 'rain counter' values. When the station's counter goes wrong, for whatever reason, the last 24 hour rain value inevitably suffers. So if you really want to correct it rather than the easier option of waiting for it to go away on its own, you would have to stop Cumulus and 'manipulate' the counter values in the October log file over the previous 24 hours relative to the current value.

Davis stations don't normally invent rain, do you know what caused it?

entirely my fault, took rain collector off to clean and forgot to unplug rain connection then the wind got up, enough said, think I might just leave it until it goes away, wont make that mistake again
