Hi,

How do I remove the following error, please?

05/03/17 13:05:07 : Error on line 6259 of D:\Cumulus\data\Mar17log.txt: List index out of bounds (1)
05/03/17 13:05:07 : Error reading D:\Cumulus\data\Mar17log.txt at line 6259: List index out of bounds (1)
05/03/17 13:05:07 : Please stop Cumulus and edit the file to correct the error
05/03/17 13:05:08 : Error on line 6259 of D:\Cumulus\data\Mar17log.txt: List index out of bounds (1)
05/03/17 13:05:08 : Error on line 6259 of D:\Cumulus\data\Mar17log.txt: List index out of bounds (1)
05/03/17 13:05:09 : Error on line 6259 of D:\Cumulus\data\Mar17log.txt: List index out of bounds (1)

I have tried removing the obvious error (a line of spaces) using Notepad ++ but Cumulus still returns the error when restarted.

I think you have probably left a line with just a line return in it at the end of the file. If Notepad++ has an option to indicate unprintable characters try turning it on and see if there invisible characters (such as line return) at line 6259 or thereabouts.

Thank you very much for your reply. Notepad ++ does have that facility and I thought I had used it. I tried it again and this time it worked. Thank you very much for your help, problem corrected. :D
