Perhaps by ticking : Display solar/extra data

FROM HELP FILE

Code: Select all

Selecting this causes Vantage Pro solar data (ET, UV and Solar radiation) or Oregon solar data (Lux, Solar radiation and UV) to be displayed on the main screen (if supported by the station), and/or extra sensor data in the case of Oregon stations.

PERHAPS:

I DO have this checked in Cumulus, and did read the help file. The sensor is supported by my station, but only displays "0" in Cumulus. I was inquiring if anyone had any real knowledge of this and not merely sarcasm. Thanks!

Are you getting values other than zero for UV on the console?

If you turn on debug logging in Cumulus, the UV packets will get traced to the debug.log file.

Right now the sun is setting, and I just checked, and it is at zero on the OS console (my console is not readily accessible). I will check tomorrow, as it is supposed to be sunny. I just wanted to verify I have Cumulus setup correctly. Thanks!

It was not sarcastic, I wrote this because sometimes people ask questions without reading the help file!
Sorry

Laulau-

No problem... I apologize for my response. :D No offense taken here- I know what you mean! Thanks for the help. I'm thinking the problem is with my UV sensor not being very good and Cumulus is setup fine. I have my OS WMR100 console where I don't see it, as it is connected via a set of USB to RJ45 adapters, and connects to my server via a CAT6 cable. After checking, the console is showing "0" for UV, so Cumulus is working correctly. I didn't know if maybe I was missing something in Cumulus setup. Thanks!
