It's pretty clear on how to fix it, just delete the bad values in the dayfile.txt it mentions.
As for why they happened, I do not know.

PS: Bob have seen your weather page before very good.

When I get to knowing what I am doing I will do something similar.

I may need your help in the future.

Since you deleted the incorrect rows rather than editing them wouldn't it be an idea to run the Create Missing function in the dayfile.txt editor in Cumulus, to replace the lines you deleted?

It is in the edit menu in Cumulus, click on dayfile.txt and then in the window that opens click on the Create Missing button in the bottom left corner.

I was wary to touch or delete anything in what is essentially a data base and so did hit that create missing to no avail.

However the 3 rows I deleted had no information in them at all and all other dates where covered correctly except a very recent one which was somehow semi doubled up ,so I used some of the values in that line for the same date as an edit and deleted the other line .

All seems to have worked ,I think the issue was caused by power failures and the unit going back to factory default settings and dates.
