Hello. Yesterday suddenly Cumulus has stopped the ftp connection with the remote server Altervista.org
The differences between now and the past is now that when I open the "web update" by file menu I read only "connect timeout" on the ftp progress windows.
I suppose that's not a problem of the remote server but of the software...
Do you help me?
Thanks.

Re: WMR200: ftp
No, it's a problem with the server or your internet connection, or something like a firewall or anti-virus software stopping Cumulus making the connection. If you turn on ftp logging, the ftplog.txt file may give a little more information to help you find out what your problem is.lormarte wrote:The differences between now and the past is now that when I open the "web update" by file menu I read only "connect timeout" on the ftp progress windows.

Re: WMR200: ftp
Error 11001 is usually "host not found". What do you have in the 'host name' box in Cumulus?

But I've not changed nothing before on the configuration!
Thanks!

Re: WMR200: ftp
I can connect to meteosgv.altervista.org and get a login prompt.
Yes, that's why I said earlier:But I've not changed nothing before on the configuration!
The server seems to be responding (for me), so you need to investigate the other possible causes.it's a problem with the server or your internet connection, or something like a firewall or anti-virus software stopping Cumulus making the connection.

Re: WMR200: ftp
It was a problem with Kaspersky AV.steve wrote:I can connect to meteosgv.altervista.org and get a login prompt.

I've changed the restriction settings on the application form of the AV.
That I don't understand is why the ftp connection has stopped suddenly without changing anything on the AV!
Thanks!
