Yet another beginner

Post by watsonm »

I have been a CumulusMX user for a while and decided to try CumulusUtils.
I seem to have self diagnosed some of my issues and the files appear in the directory on my website.

However all I see when browsing is the basic template and clock and the display doesn't appear to be picking up that it is english even tho' the
ini file has Language=en-GB

For some reason the boxes for temp etc are not being populated.
I would be grateful for any pointers or assistance.

System is being built on a raspberry pi 3 and doesn't seem to throw up any errors that are pointing me to my problem. Mono is at 6.12.

Hi,
I do thinkt that CumulusRealTimeLocation is relative
Try

Code: Select all

CumulusRealTimeLocation=
PS
I do assume that your weather link is https://www.mike-watson.co.uk/weather/

Thanks Roger ,

CumulusRealTimeLocation=

fixed that issue. (clicking the banner below will take you there)

Yes my weather stuff is under the subdirectory as I may update the rest of the site in future.
I did have the index.html in webroot as an instant redirect to my flickr page. I have now changed it
for the moment to point to the index in the sub D.

Next is trying to see why the map is not displayed and the menu is not english.

Thanks again Mike

OK, the map is displayed and the language is OK now.
As far as I can see it all looks OK.
  • Your menu (left of the 'Dashboard' item) is Dutch because you should edit the example which is included in the distribution to what you want it to be. You may delete it for the time being.
  • You may want to delete the line of the CurrentSolarRad plotvariable in CutilsCharts.def as you do not have a solar sensor (?)
It's getting busy around The Channel btw ;)
