Re: Beginner - CumulusUtils installation
You also have configured an UpdateInterval (for FTP in CMX) of 1 minute.
That is unreasonble small: the default is 15 minutes, make it at least 10 minutes. This is the update interval for the datafiles. Really that is fast enough.
Your realtime interval in seconds is 15 seconds, that is pretty fast either but OK. My advise would be some 20 or 30 seconds.

Re: Beginner - CumulusUtils installation
OK
In Station Setting=>Graphs=>Data Series Visibility, switch off UV.
Well... suit yourself, but indeed this is not CMX and not the intention of CUtils. The RECENT charts display the short history in the highest frequency possible (your log frequency). The Daily or full history charts take the aggregate statistics to display. Any higher resultion would be of your own making.Benji60 wrote: ↑Tue 16 Nov 2021 2:53 pm As for the graphs, no problem. As I have a database on my site of all the history (every 5 min), I think there must be a way to display highchart but by connecting to the database which allows to display any day.
But this has nothing to do with CumulusUtils ^^
Ah... right!

Yes, you are right! I changed it to 10 min!
I'm almost done with my French translation version, I'm just looking to see if it's possible to translate this :

Re: Beginner - CumulusUtils installation
Good
As you can see below the chart those charts are the output of the ChartsCompiler.
The file which rules those charts is CutilsCharts.def in the utils directory. This is basically a user defined file although what you see is the default a you find in the distribution. All texts in that file are user texts and therefore will not be found in the language file but will be written by the user directly in his language.
The exception to this rule are the chart legends. The legends are the plot variable names which are fixed (see the CDL language definition). Therefore these variable names are written to language file (section [Compiler]) where the user can give useful descriptions which then will be used in the charts.

And to finish the UV thing off: you also have to take out the UV charting in the CutilsChart.def file (Solar chart).
If you don't it gives an error in the console because you ask it to graph something it cannot find.

Re: Beginner - CumulusUtils installation
I have just looked at your post and would share my settings, realtime update 15secs and web update 5 mins. As you are aware my system/website is internal so the settings are for my convenience and produce a web display which is relatively current. This display is now my main view of the data rather than looking at the CMX admin site.

Yes, I agree, as long as everything is internal to your local net the frequencies are more or less irrelevant and you can choose higher frequencies for as much as your bandwidth allows.AndyKF650 wrote: ↑Tue 16 Nov 2021 3:40 pm I have just looked at your post and would share my settings, realtime update 15secs and web update 5 mins. When on the internet things are different in relation to bandwidth, costs and eventual repercussions by the provider. I don't take gigabit internet for granted yet. A personal weathersite is still not Netflix and sending all your data every minute is not done. Usually you share a cable with your neighbours an you can make the calculation yourself.
But anyway... Of course everybody can live up to the local possibilities
Thanks for the complimentThis display is now my main view of the data rather than looking at the CMX admin site.

Re: Beginner - CumulusUtils installation
Hello to all!
After a bad manipulation my operating system crashed.
Anyway I managed to reinstall everything but since I restarted Cumulusutils, I noticed 2 errors in the log.
Indeed, the map is not working anymore.
For the error on "SolarRadiation" I don't really see where the problem comes from.
Thanks a lot for your help.

Regarding the error on "SolarRadiation"
Copy CutilsCharts-default-for-use.def to CutilsCharts.def, overwrite any old file.
Regarding the map, have a look in viewtopic.php?f=44&t=19871

Thank you very much!
I solved both problems!
I already had SSL version 1.1.1 but I disabled mozilla/DST_Root_CA_X3.crt and indeed it worked afterwards.
