v.5.0.0 beta1
CUtils runs fine.
Have a lot of understanding to do on ChartDef.def when, how, what and where so no time yet for shouting and jumping!
Enjoy,
Paul

Re: v.5.0.0 beta1
Hi Paul,
Understandable, its new and never seen before
Just think of a new opening chart and what you would like to see then try to configure that.
Use the examples as a starting point.
I am curious how easy it eventually is.

Important: an error in the compiler document has been found: the charts definitions filename must be CutilsCharts.def.
I corrected the document which you find attached.

Re: v.5.0.0 beta1
It appeared CumulusRealTimeLocation had not been taken into account.
This has been corrected, version 5.0.0 beta 1 patch 1 is now downloadable.

Re: v.5.0.0 beta1
Latest Patch works.
Will it be possible to define Area for Rainfall?
And can I also add a little request both for these charts and the standard:
For Temperature is it possible to draw the 0-line a bit thicker?
Up here it tells me if Rainfall is rain or snow. (More or less)

Hi Hans,
Took a while... but figured out how, then after running I could see the difference in the site with the CutilsCharts.def compiler and site without.
Enjoy,
Paul

Re: v.5.0.0 beta1
@sutne: Yes Area can be done too, I forgot it in the Compiler doc but it is in the code (and you can use it for other variables too, just like column etc... )
I updated the document and attached the replacement here (apparently it is difficult to do it OK in one go ).
Could you elaborate a bit on the 0-line? I don't quite understand what you mean.
I did already implement LineWidth so you can give any line the width you specify.
Snow is not a parameter so I don't understand how to get that into graphing. Or are you asking for a thicker line when temperature goes below zero? That would be a challenge I guess but I could inquire a bit but I am not sure that is possible. Let me know if I understand you correctly here. Is that something you see somewhere else.
I did take out the standard CumulusCharts line for 0 degree with red/blue scales, I could bring that back of course, would that help?
@Paul: That's great Now you can start experimenting (if you wish of course). @sutne just gave a nice challenge, maybe you can come up with something?

Re: v.5.0.0 beta1
@sutne: Aha... That is no problem. I thought you want the temp line below zero to be thicker than above zero
Actually, the zero-line is not present in my graphs but I will put it back.

Re: v.5.0.0 beta1
I put the beta 2 online.
Linewidth, ConnectTo and Y-axis mod for the temperature scale should now all be functional.
Optimisation in code generation for all variables from the same json is made which clearly performs better.

Re: v.5.0.0 beta1
A few things on the graphs.
It should be possible to change name on the axis. That would solve the language problem.
For RainfalRate you are using both RainfallRate and RainSpeed.
For Rainrate the 0 line should be at the bottom. This is a nice option, maybe I will make up so fancy grouping of graphs.
Regards
Steinar

Re: v.5.0.0 beta1
You mean the legend below the x-axis? Agreed, good idea.
That would mean the keywords would get an entry for the translation. That entry would of course only be used in the graph, the keywords themselves as used in the Chart Definition of course have to remain unchanged.
For the translations in the charts of the compiler, I will make a separate section in the translation file
Yes, the keyword is RainfallRate for which as said above I will create keyword entries in the translation file to be used in the legend.
"Rain speed" is actually the translation for the erroneous entry in the language file for "RainRate" which should have been Rainrate (note the lower case second r).
Sorry for the confusion. I removed the RainRate entry and replaced it with the Rainrate entry.
You will have to remove the RainRate entry from your language file yourself.
I assume a Compiler section in the language file will make things clearer? asking for opinion
Glad you like it. Thank you yes, it will. But the grouping will require output in separate files and not just in one CumulusCharts file.
So there is some work to do to achieve that
And btw: I just added the Opacity attribute for the charttype mainly important for the area plot of course.
I'll release a beta 3 a bit later
