From System info:

Code: Select all

Cumulus version: 3.5.4, uptime: 0 days 13 hours
Weather station: Oregon Scientific WMR100

Linux/Unix

System uptime: 9 hours, 49 minutes
Cumulus version: 3.5.4, uptime: 0 days 13 hours

I upgraded the Raspbian today and had a reboot about 10 hours ago, but Cumulus has been running for 13 hours?

:o Yes that seems weird.
Point is, that there is no calculation of CumulusUtils involved here. The page is generated for the system data and then treated by CumulusMX to get the Cumulus Uptime. Apparently, the page does not seem to get updated, because this morning I had the same uptime as you yesterday evening. The page only gets the CumulusMX uptime through the processing of cumulus.

Could you run only the systeminfo command and send me the logfile.
To which version of Raspbian did you upgrade?

CumulUtils uses the following commands
  1. uptime -p
  2. lshw -quiet -class system
  3. uname -s -r -m
  4. lsb_release -a
  5. mono -V
  6. cat /proc/meminfo
  7. df -T -text4 -tvfat -h
If any of those fail, it throws an exception and exits. The existing old file won't be replaced. Info in the logfile.

Made a few changes and will in doubt make more.
Thank You.

Ah.... a dark version. Nice. Could wait for somebody to make one. :D
Thanks :!:

But that is not the configuration alone. I assume you changed other files as well.
Make sure they don't get overwritten with updates!

And btw: you can change the name UserMenu and expand it in multiple columns to the left if you wish!

Hi Hans,
Thanks, yes I backup mods before each update.
If the mods where possible in the .ini it would be easier. But that would be too hard.
I'm happy doing it the way i do.
Kind regards,

@Tony: hope you are aware, there is a thread on 'Colour settings, defaults and user modifications' ?
Would be nice to see the settings there.

If you explain what you did and where (in the thread I just gave) I will see what I can do.

I only ran a ‘sudo apt-get full-upgrade’ of my Raspbian Buster.

Since the System info is not realtime, it may be better to print the date and time of when system and Cumulus was restared.

The output should have the version line at the bottom indicating the generation time of the system information. I really would have to research to see weather the start times are available (easily). Problem is you don't seem to have any output to be processed by Cumulus (which does the upload).

Comments on 3.6.7:
Beaufort: I think it could be nice to have the Beaufort description (Calm, Gale etc). Then the font has to be smaller.
And I do not think Beaufort is valid for the latest measured, it has to be the average the last 10 minutes.

pwsFWI: the new text in the heading disappears in a small window (ex portrait mode on iPad)
It should be possible to change the text. Do you think normal users who is not active on this forum knows what pwsFWI means?
In the pwsFWI the wind is always km/h, should be the same as the setting.
