I just saw the first CumulusUtils website on the southern hemisphere.
I can confirm it all functions correctly, specifically the times, sun and moon. And that is great!

Still looking for a test site in imperial units though ;)
Although it is all foreseen to go well, it's never been tested and some things may go wrong.

Good morning Hans

Congratulations on this new update; Every time you add more improvements that are welcome. :D

I suspect that this template will mark a milestone, due to its apparent simplicity, its aesthetics, and the practical use of data.

The novelty of the forecast is welcome and generally I believe that some "outer pages" to the template will improve the overall quality of the template and will encourage future potential users.

Here's to a fan who greatly appreciates your efforts.

Thank you very much Javier, that really is very nice to say :D :!:

Only the sentence
The novelty of the forecast is welcome and generally I believe that some "outer pages" to the template will improve the overall quality of the template and will encourage future potential users.
confuses me. Could you say that again in Spanish so that I can rework my way through that one? :?
(I really love the story about the Tower of Babel ;) )

sorry for this very complicated phrase; What I really wanted to say is that the possibility of being able to see, through iframes, scripts other than your own template, enrich the result.

I hope I explained better now

Aha, Much better :D Thank you, outer/external pages. Yes that works great.
And not only through iframes, you can basically load any HTML you want, including <script></script>
Might even play some music I guess ;)

Good morning Hans

I have installed the new version 3.4.1, but I don't see the new graphics options:
version 3.4.1 (5/7/2020)
Changed the Cumulus Graphs (the opening graph) to accommodate 'Feels Like'.
Introduced ini parameters for Apparent, Feels Like, Wind Chill and Heat Index for the user to select show or no show of these temperature derivatives for human perception of the weather.
I'm sure I did something wrong jjjjjj :groan:

I don't see you having 3.4.1 installed, still seeing 3.4.0.
I checked the zip, it's really the good one. Check, empty your cache and run again.
The parameters are in the inifile, not run-time!

Thanks for the radio btw :D
Where is that playlist with all kinds of weather related songs. I liked that better than the jazz ;)

I remember installing what you say on my page, but I don't remember where I put it: :bash:
Can you tell me where you have seen it on my page?

@kocher: I really don't know. It was some American radio station I believe.

Hans,
I am impressed!

Yesterday evening I started to look into the Readme-file for Cumulusutils and now I have this:
http://www.rjoandveret.no/utils/

Then I need to do some adjustments and also translate to norwegian and voila!

Yes it is quite easy isn't it. Thanks for installing!
If you have any questions or advice for improvement, let me know. Also take a good look at the UserMenu extension possibilities.
With respect to the translation you must know, that that is currently only halfway implemented.
I want to finish it soon (and yes, I tried Norwegian characters and they display well, it works ;) )

Hope you enjoy CumulusUtils and the future developments!

Best regards, Hans

[Edit:] and thanks for giving proof that the sundisc actually works further north ;)
[Edit2:] I see your station is off-line for an hour now. Is that normal or are you experimenting?

Btw, I think the tool has currently reached some level of maturity at the moment. Development will no doubt continue but its pace will slow down a bit I guess, also depending on suggestions. So, if anybody feels like contributing to the Wiki for CumulusUtils I would say, you're welcome. Category's: WebTools, User_Contributions and/or 3rd_Party_Apps seem like good sections to me. ;) Does not have to be extensive, but a pointer to the main forum message and some citations from the readme, some focus on modular versus website generation... well, could do it myself of course but some native English speakers piece of proza would be nice.

@BeaumarisWX:
Thanks for installing Tony, the play will focus on configuration and the expansion through the Usermenu I guess. I see that you have no Solar nor UV. You might want to switch that off (ini parameter).

It's really beginning to feel good to see people install and translate the application without much trouble from Norway through France and Spain with all characters involved: without a glitch. Gives some peace of mind ;)

Enjoy the app.
