Correcting spurious entries in Cumulus MX

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Correcting spurious entries in Cumulus MX

Post by brookr »

Hi
Since it's the start of a new year. I thought it would be worth mentioning again, that I have spurious rainfall records that do not match up with my Weatherlink data.
On the 1st January I had two 0.2mm records ~(0.4mm) of rain that recorded in Weatherlink but did not show within my CumulusMX record. This means that I now have a difference of 0.4mm in my total rainfall in Cumulus NOAA and Annual data. There are 2 questions that I would like to ask.
1. How do I correct this anomaly and keep all my records in Cumulus straight.
2. Why has this happened?
Thanks

Can you post the log file that covers the Jan 1st rollover if you still have it?

You want to...?
Add 0.4 mm of rain to your CMX Jan 1st data.
Increase the January rain total by 0.4 mm.
Increase the 2021 year total by 0.4 mm.
