Just bought a GW1100 Gateway only to start a gradual build of a new station.
I now have two CumulusMXs running on a Windows PC, my main one as a Service and the other one run through the Command Console on port 8700.
Is it possible to run CumulusMx as a service twice or is the above the only way of doing it?
I also used the new Wizard for real (as opposed to an existing station in the Beta trial) to configure the station and it worked well. Nice work Mark.

Re: New Ecowitt GW1100 gateway
Haven't tried running on a PC as a service, I've only done it on the Pi.
But that said I created the service in cmx.service instead of cululusmx.service.
Maybe a similar thing is possible where you (Still thinking Linux here) create cmx1.service & cmx2.service.
Would think they would operate separately as long as different ports were defined.
I could be completely wrong as a Linux newbie, but I'm sure the experts will know.
Cheers

You could run CMX as two system services on Windows, but you'd have to hand craft the second service - basically as different service name, different CMX file system location, different CMX port.

Thanks Mark. Achieved it via Regedit and copied the existing Service with the Path and port changes.
