Instromet sunshine recorder

Post by johngoulding »

I have been using Cumulus for a number of years to log data from Instromet sensors, including their sunshine sensor. I now have a desktop computer running Windows 10 and have downloaded Cumulus 1.9.4.
However, in the main screen there is no longer a section for daily sunshine. Is Cumulus still able to log the Instromet sunshine hours, and if so how is this done?

Can anyone advise please.

Regards
John

Which Version / Build number were you using and which have you now downloaded / installed?

Cumulus 1 is no longer being updated but "special" versions for Instromet users are still available. Probably, your only hope (of using Cumulus 1) is if one of the downloads HERE is suitable.

Hi John
Have you managed to interface the output with your PC? I am using Weatherlink on an old weather monitor 2 system, the interface is available from Instromet/ prodata, but this has it's limitations?
Please see my post this morning.
