Has anyone successfully managed to get sounds working in their web browser when an alarm is triggered?
All I get is a button, but even clicking it does nothing..
Tried on Edge/Chrome and Brave.

Re: Play Sounds
I just tried it by setting wind gust lower, and it scared the dickens out of me (have to remember to turn the speakers after running a YouTube)
And like you say, the checkmark does not stay after exiting from the Alarm setting window and then no more alarms.
Enjoy,
Paul

Re: Play Sounds
Yes, I just set one up for wind gusts greater than 25 knots and it triggered straight away and played the sound. Using Chrome on Windows. Opened up the interface on my phone (Chrome on Android) and had the same result.

Re: Play Sounds
Just won't play for me.. only a button shows that does nothing..
I also only get a browser notification if I refresh the dashboard.

Re: Play Sounds
Seems to still work for me using the latest Edge browser.
There is a bug in alarm settings JavaScript that does not display the sound enabled ticks - they do set and hold OK though.
Updated alarm settings script attached.
Notifications have now been deprecated in most browsers for insecure sites.
To get these working I enable the following configuration flag (about://flags) "Insecure origins treated as secure"
and add my local CMX URL - http://192.168.80.86:8998
It does mean you get a warning message every time you start the browser though.

Re: Play Sounds
Yeah, I have my URL in the flags settings.
I have no idea why sounds don't work, everything is set to play them and the browser is set to allow sounds.
