From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).
I was curious about my MX computer's CPU temperature, as the ambient temperature in its location has just risen above 30 degrees C. I knew I had seen the CPU temperature logged in MXdiags files, so took a look in there. The entry is there in the log file but it doesn't change over time - always registering 8.3 degrees C.

Is this related to your hardware?
My CPU temperature entry is changing in the diagnostics file, nearly all the time, and I can see when the room containing my RPi starts to heat up or cool down.
With room temps in the 28 - 29 C range one of my CMX RPis is showing CPU temps in the high 50's to low 60s C.
My Pi 4 (running webserver and MariaDB) is currently at 64C.
I don't have heatsinks or fans on either!
