From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Cumulus PWS

Post by Pirate3000 »

Hi all.
Im using PWS dashboard (https://github.com/ktrue/CU-HWS) for Cumulus MX and have some questions.

I cant seem to get the graphs to work, must be a settings somewhere.
Can I put a background image in them
Can you change the blocks around to make more across or down? or less?

Thanks for any help

The graphs all are sourced from WeatherUnderground data, not Cumulus/CumulusMX. The CU-HWS template only uses the realtime.txt file from Cumulus.

To see the graphs, you'd need to set up the WU station ID and API key using easyweathersetup.php

The background of the graphs is not currently configurable via easyweathersetup.php .. you'd need to hack the code to change it. Likewise for the block arrangement on the screen. Sorry.

I've not been updating the CU-HWS much (other than bug fixes). You may want to try a different version with Cumulus (Wim's PWS Dashboard) which has a similar look/feel, but an entirely different infrastructure. It does allow rearrangement of the blocks, but still relies on WU for graphs (unless you set up a companion SQL server).
