cumulus no longer saves

i have cumulusmx running on a pc. Runs flawlessly for several months. If I want to change something, e.g. FTP realtime, and then go to save, I get the following error message. How can I prevent this ?

Which version are you running? Are you running MX on Windows or Linux?
