Correcting Rainfall Totals in MX, from a new user.

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Correcting Rainfall Totals in MX, from a new user.

Post by Bristolian »

Hello, after my copy of Weather Display ceased functioning yesterday morning after a powercut, I reinstalled Cumulus, and then MX.
I have, however, an error in the rainfall total. Prior to today, my station had recorded a shade over 165mm or rain this year, however for some reason Cumulus has it down as 130mm. Stranger still is that MX shows under the rainfall tab for today shows 2.4mm for today, but only 3.6mm for this month and year...

Can some one please explain, in simple terms, which files I need to change to correct this error?.
I'm happy to not have full accurate daily figures from prior to yesterday, but it would be nice to be able to move forward to correct and accurate figures from now on!.

Thanks in advance.

Very Best Wishes,
Bob.
