Data input appears to have stopped

Hello everybody,
my name is Luca and I use CumulusMX for several stations.
Yesterday I got to install CumulusMX also on a Raspberry PiZero. To this raspberry I connected a usb hub, connected to the console of a Fine Offset station and to a 3g key to transmit data online.
I realized that after a few minutes of correct operation, the reading of data from the console stops.
I thought there could be two problems:
1) the raspberry confuses with the external hub (unlikely)
2) there is not enough current to the peripherals due to the external hub for which I am forced to supply additional power

What do you think? now I do a test without a 3g key to see what happens.

The Raspberry is known to have problem with the USB port so a Hub with external power is recommended.

Meanwhile I tried to just connect the station to the hub (without 3G key), so it should get enough current.

In the meantime I order a cable like this to power the hub.

Yes, of course. I will use a normal power supply for phones with USB output (500mA is enough).

I connected the power supply of the Vantage pro2 console to the hub (it's the same 1.7mm connector).
Unfortunately the problem persists, what could be the problem?
The error message appears every 1 minute (from 11:59).
Since the error occurs, CumulusMX no longer updates the data and does not store them.

Obvious thing is to check the transmitter batteries. Next is to disconnect the Weatherstation from USB and take the batteries out wait 20 seconds or more and then put the batteries in and reconnect it to the USB. This should reset the sync to the transmitter and could solve the problem. Lastly, have you got "Synchronise Fine Offset reads" ticked in Settings / Station Settings / Options as this can also solve this.

If none of these work it is problem that the transmitter has a fault. FineOffsets have a history of dry/oxidised solder joints that gradually fail.

Thanks for the reply.
The transmitter batteries are charged. i have already tried to reset the console. I have already activated "Synchronize Fine Offset reads". I have always used this station with Pi3 and it has never given me problems (in fact this morning I tried to attach it to the Pi3 and it did not crash), instead with Pizero the reading is interrupted.
Maybe the problem is the usb hub? I also tried with a different one but the problem persists...

It is always advisable to use a powered hub with any Pi as they are notorious for not supplying the correct current. Are you using an official Pi power supply as some of the cheap versions also do not supply the correct voltage to run all the things that can be attached to a Pi.

So I am using another Pi3 I already had at home and everything works correctly.
