Removing a single gust?
Hi folks,
I seem to have recorded a random gust up to nearly 90mph on the 6th Jan which I'm pretty sure isn't accurate.
What's the best way to remove this single data point please?
Thanks.

Use the Data Log editor to amend the the Data Log entry and then the Dayfile Editor to edit the dayfile and then as assume it has set monthly, yearly and all time records those records by using the Edit features.

Thanks - Is there a quick way to work through the data log or do I have to do it by clicking one page at a time?

Re: Removing a single gust?
The way I do it is to look at when the spike occurred in the graphs and then use the editor functions at the bottom of the window to jump 5 pages until you get close and then click through until you get to the time and date you need to change.
In my case it is usually an anomaly caused by the Fine Offset having a fit, so I alter the incorrect reading by judging what was going on from the readings from the data lines either side of the incorrect reading and amending it accordingly.

Re: Removing a single gust?
I'm all done but I only have the option to jump five pages when it's at the first or last page so it took many hundreds of clicks to get forward to the 6th January from the first!

Perhaps it would have been quicker to go to the last and work backwards?took many hundreds of clicks to get forward to the 6th January from the first!

It's quicker to go forward from the 1st to the 6th than it is to go backwards from the 14th to the 6th

Re: Removing a single gust?
i also had a spike in december a wind gust of 200km/h
, i have amended the data log and edited dayfile but for records, how can i find the previous records because this spike had erased it?

In the Settings -> Edit -> All-Time Records click on the Fetch Monthly Log Data link at the bottom to see the logged data and timestamp. The same for Monthly, This Month's, and This Year's
Enjoy,
