I wanted to turn on debug logging. To find out how, I looked in the Wiki. I fixed the link there to refer to the new updated Settings / Program settings menu
It is good to see that someone is keeping the Wiki up to date.

In CumulusMX the logging files are in the MXDiags directory and are in date order with a .txt extension.
I think you must have been looking at the old Cumulus 1 part of the documentation.
Although David did not explicitly say you had updated the wrong article, that is what he implied.
You updated
https://cumuluswiki.org/a/Debug.log, and your update to cover MX removed some Cumulus 1 specific information.
You should have updated [
https://cumuluswiki.org/a/MXDiags] which already covered MX at earlier versions.

The Wiki page does not say whether it is for Cumulus 1 or CumulusMX. I updated it to cover both.
All Wiki pages were originally written when only Cumulus 1 existed. The page you updated had a title that relates to a file that is only in Cumulus 1, so previously it deliberately did not refer to MX.
Updating the whole Wiki is a massive job, and the developer asked for contributors at
viewtopic.php?p=138229#p138229 but with insufficient response there are a lot of articles that still need updating. As my latest post in that topic implies, the update task is huge and therefore needs someone prepared to redesign the Wiki rather than just tweak the odd page.
Where pages cover both Cumulus 1 and MX, this should be very clear, e.g.
https://cumuluswiki.org/a/Diagnostics.
It is critical the Wiki continues to be documentation for all Cumulus users whatever version they have installed. I have updated all 3 articles mentioned above, so the Wiki is now correct for those using Cumulus 1, those using an earlier version of MX who still have to use
Station Settings, and those using a recent version who need to use
Program Settings.
