Historic charts (web) not displaying
Updated to latest version. I can see the historic charts in the local interface (PC running MX), but not the web version.

I updated the .js files - all it says is loading data.

Re: Historic charts (web) not displaying
In this release the daily graph data files are only uploaded during the end of day rollover. Have you had one yet?
I'll change this in the next release to also upload after a Cumulus start-up.

Re: Historic charts (web) not displaying
I was looking at this myself as I liked the historical charts. I only updated today so will wait for the rollover tonight.
Dont actually use the Cumuls web files but for "normal charts" it uses files like tempdata.json which I use. I looked in the historical charts JS file and see it uses files like alldaily****.json. Will these files be created and uploaded or am I missing something here.

Re: Historic charts (web) not displaying
Yes the alldailyxxxxdata.json files are created and placed in your \web folder and uploaded. The similar new history files as shown from the local dashboard are separate.
Enjoy,
Paul

Re: Historic charts (web) not displaying
I see those files uploaded to my website data folder at midnight. I guess I should have waited before asking. Thanks for replying Paul.
Well, guess what my little project is over the weekend

Re: Historic charts (web) not displaying
I'm in a similar situation, I installed these on the 11th so I'd have expected a nightly update since then. I can see the alldaily files have been uploaded as they're timestamped Dec 13 00:00 but the graph page is showing empty online. Do I just have to wait an extra day?

It looks like you haven't uploaded the new "/js/historiccharts.js" file?Feek wrote: ↑Sun 13 Dec 2020 4:20 pm I'm in a similar situation, I installed these on the 11th so I'd have expected a nightly update since then. Re: Historic charts (web) not displaying
Because I installed the update after the time/date you mentioned, I didn't think I needed to. However, after my last post, I grabbed the small zip file anyway and added it to the Pi so will I have to wait until the jobs run at midnight?
/edit - Ignore that, I see what you mean. I've done it and it's good, thanks again. Sorry for the n00b questions, I'm still getting my head around Cumulus on the Pi as it's been a long time since I ran it last.

Re: Historic charts (web) not displaying
Can I ask where the alldaily files get their data. Am I right in my research that they come from dayfile.txt
I have a couple of "spikes" in the UV which I need to irradicate. Up until now they havent mattered as they arent logged so dont show in my historical data and on the original trends they would not display after 168 hours based on the cumulius settings. However, now I have historical graphs they will continue to show and dont remember there being enough sunshine on one day in October and one day in November to reflect a UV index of 14.
If its dayfile I can go and correct.
Thanks
Andy

Re: Historic charts (web) not displaying
I keep getting a zero filesize alldailywdirdata.json on my website after the Cumulus daily update at 12:00
The MXdiags has at each end of day-
There is no alldailywdirdata.json created in my \web folder.
Also there is no WindDir in the Dashboard and web historical graphs.
Anyone else seeing this or a possible setting error on my part?
Enjoy,
Paul

Re: Historic charts (web) not displaying
Its a known error Paul. Originally I was going to create that file, then decided not to but left it in the list of files to be copied.

Re: Historic charts (web) not displaying
I can see pressure, wind, rain, humidity historic charts - but not the temperature charts on my CumulusMX console.
All I get is a "Loading" image. I wonder why?
My setup is a RaspberryPi running most recent software, entirely local: no FTP, no website.
