Mmmmm interesting

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Next time you restart MX, can you run it with -debug parameter and post the log file please.

Will do.

I have exported the realtime file though into a csv file so I restarted mx around 12:51:20 and there's a gap of forty seconds and the first the row at 12:51:44 contains a load of zero's.
I can post that file if I can compress it enough if you like?

Or I do still wish me to do debug parameter next time I restart?

I think I can confirm that startup/shutdown effect from a totally different angle.
What version of CMX are you on? Because afaik that effect is gone with the recent rewrite of that part of the code.
So an upgrade to the final version should at least reduce that problem.

My apologies

I tried to help you with my first post but it prompted Mark to ask me a question.

Maybe Admin can split the thread?

Hi Mark it's the latest build do you still want me to do the debug?

Interesting it doesn't do the same for the graphs under steel series.

I'd need a log file from start-up run with -debug to get anything more I think.
It could be that its just the graph data that is in error, in which case it will only appear on the Recent graphs and not in data files
