My conclusion: The NoSensorCheck should preferably be included by default in the Cumulus.ini file.
Cumulus download zip does not have a Cumulus.ini as it gets created from the first time install settings. Cumulus is designed to run with a weather station and all its available sensors. I suppose it could be added as an additional setting (if that were even possible).

The Cumulus.ini you attached had NoSensorCheck=1 but the MXDiags had NoSensorCheck = 0
(By the way, you should edit or remove the attachment to remove FTP login info!)

Possibly you edited the Cumulus.ini with CumulusMX running and any manual edit in the .ini file would not stay when shutting down Cumulus.

Here is discussion on somewhat similar issue from the early CumulusMX viewtopic.php?p=113517#p113517

Enjoy,
Paul

If Cumulus has detected that the required sensors are not present, then it stops logging data and the other "interval" FTP process. The "FTP Now" function invokes the FTP process regardless of the sensor check state.

I'm not quite sure why the default is to stop logging as if a sensor is missing its not as if you can rewind and recover the missing data from the logger as it will not be there.
Can anyone remember the context of why this was implemented by Steve?

Hi Mark,
I vaguely remember discussions something about the OS station sensors, but there was likely more to it.
