MXdiag

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

One of your logs says you are running two instances of CMX. You can't.
And for the rest: it seems to me you have misconfigured your server. You can't upload anything (you can connect though) so probably you misconfigured path and/or access.

And btw, it tries also to download all of the loggers history. That seems to mean that the interval of the logger and cumulus are not set equal.

also trying to connect to mysql is failing too.
Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1' (10061):

I suggest you try starting from scratch. I say this, due to all your previous posts, you have been trying to get x,y,z features enabled all at the same time.

This is not a best practice. mysql, ftp, uploading to WOW, etc are all failing. Best to get one thing setup, check the logs and make sure its working before moving onto the next feature. (backup your settings as you go. You cannot just enable everything (by the looks of it) and expect it all to miraculously work. The mxdiags here looks like there are loads of features broken.

firstly you need to get Cumulus working with your weather station. (period) (no ftp, no mysql, no website, no uploading to WU, WOW etc.) just make sure CumulusMX is talking to your Station, and time, date, graphs/live gauges etc are all working in th CumulusMX gui (http://localhoast:8998) let it run for 10-20 minutes and check the log files for errors.

once this is ok, start to add features/options. one at a time, and check they work as expected before enabling a new feature.

also update to the latest version of MX first.

Code: Select all

You are not running the latest version of CumulusMX, build 3093 is available.

2020-08-29 13:36:41.284 Reading firmware version
2020-08-29 13:36:41.687 FW version = ???
2020-08-29 13:36:41.687 LOOP2 is enabled in Cumulus.ini but this firmware version does not support it. Consider disabling it in Cumulus.ini
what version of firmware do you have on your Davis Console? how old is your unit?

Much appreciated.
Think my console is 2006, but I replaced the station 3 yr ago. The downloads to CumulusMX all appear to be working OK on my PC. A few issues with rainfall, but I have worked out that these were probably due to me resetting total rainfall on my console. Adjusted data within the data files for MX respective all time high hour/day/year etc. The downloads to my webspace are probably due to security issues within my Netgear router. I take your point about enabling everything else. My son is working on this, so hopefully should have an answer soon.
