Running CumulusMX v3.8.2 (b3092)
In Records Highs and lows 'All time', 'Rainfall' Highest Hourly Rainfall I saw a false amount recorded going back to 10/12/2011 when I first started recording data. I guess I was being heavy handed installing my first weather hardware upsetting the rain collecting mechanism and only now noticed.
I used MX's Dayfile viewer/editor and set the Max rainfall rate to 0.0 and the time to 00:00 as no Total rain was recorded and saved the edit.
Now the All time High hourly rain is showing 7.0mm on 27 August 2020 at 18:24 which is the time I made the edit (it was raining then!). This month and This year also show this data, date and time.
But when I look at Highs and lows for Aug, there is 20.0mm on 26 Aug 2015 at 13:03 which is higher than All time is showing.
Is there something else I can edit to correct this?
Appriciate all help.
Thanks

Re: Records Highs and lows
I'm not sure I really understand the problem. You have corrected the dayfile to remove the bad data for 2011.
You have an all time hourly of this August, but you think that is wrong. What does the all time records editor now show as the record from the dayfile? (and does this match - approximately - the value that MX gets from the monthly logs).
Then just edit the all time record in the editor to match the value you want - either from the dayfile, or your August 2015 value or whatever.

Re: Records Highs and lows
Mark, thanks for coming back on this.
My problem started when I edited my first ever Dayfile using the MX Dayfile viewer/editor, changing the Max rain rate 00 and time to 00:00. I noticed that the Records for All time/All time/Highest houly Rainfall then showed the actual current rain fall which I wasn't expecting.
I have now edited All time and Monthly records to show what I would have expected.
Thanks again
