Now it is working live, what I'd do to get your history across is...
1. Stop Cumulus MX
2. Start Cumulus 1 and let it catch up any missing data
3. Once you are happy Cumulus 1 has caught up and all your historic data is present. Stop Cumulus 1
4. Copy the entire contents of the Cumulus 1 "\data" folder to the Cumulus MX "\data" folder - overwriting any files that are there
5. Make a backup copy of your Cumulus MX "Cumulus.ini" file by renaming it to "Cumulus.ini.save"
6. Copy the Cumulus 1 "Cumulus.ini" file to your Cumulus MX folder
7. Start Cumulus MX
If there are any issues, please zip the \MXdiags folder up and attach it here.
You can always... stop Cumulus MX and start Cumulus 1 to get back where you were as nothing has been changed in the Cumulus 1 files.

Re: 1st time installation Cumulus MX
Thanks Mark
I will attempt to update my history following your advice.
I know there are some spurious records in there but that's my next project- to clean it all up, before I get going on the web updates, which is another area that I'm not familiar with.
Hopefully there should be enough on wiki to get me up and running.

Re: 1st time installation Cumulus MX
Hello Mark
Sorry to be a pain! I've checked the data files and I can't see a file called cumulus ini.
Is it the cumulus / cumulusmx settings file? certainly nothing under my data file.

Re: 1st time installation Cumulus MX
It is the settings file, in the same folder as CumulusMX.exe - not in the \data folder.
