Re: MX releases
Great, it would be an idea if a few people who start using it as a service tell us how they find it. And if anyone installs the restart on resume Scheduled Task and if it saves them!

Re: MX releases
I added the registry entry for the service restart.
With CumulusMX running I forced a reboot to confim CumuluxMX started. It did.
For info
MXdiags last few entries at unschedule exit show
To me, everything looks good.

Re: MX releases
Also running as a service on Win10 64 2004
I have started and stopped it it a number of times, from the services.msc as well as a shortcuts I have configured for the same purpose + querying status.
Also starts happily on reboot.
(I need to do a bit of reading to implement the recovery from standby script, as it's not something I've done before - unless anyone has a quick and dirty pointer?)

Re: MX releases
PS - If you've managed to run the script correctly, does it create a task scheduler entry?
PPS - now done this.
For anyone else following it through, I had to run powershell as administrator and temporarily set it to run Unrestricted scripts and then run the script, before returning it back to restricted.
Once the script is run, it has an entry in Task scheduler.

Re: MX releases
On Linux the service runs without problems.
Reboot is OK.

Re: MX releases
I probably had.You don't have two copies of Cumulus MX running do you?
When I now did stop twice it said 'Cumulus MX is not running", but I still had a mono running.
I killed that one and started again and now it seems be OK.
And now the Admin interface shows NOAA-reports.
Thank you.

Re: MX releases
Probably as well to enable the option in Station settings to "Stop second instance".
