Re: FTP feed for web site
And your Internet settings Web/FTP settings have Auto update, Include standard files, Include graph data files all enabled?
With FTP logging enabled is the MXdiags and FTP log messages still the same as you posted earlier?
If all of that is yes, then I am sorry I have no other thoughts.
Good luck,
Paul

Re: FTP feed for web site
Thanks Paul. Unfortunately all yes. The only thing no one has confirmed for me, either here or from the ftp server, why the cumulus directory is showing in a direct link via filezilla or the ftp log as directory /, not directory cumulus??

Re: FTP feed for web site
In my case FileZilla starts up with the last folder I visited as the open folder. I've just had it at the top of the hierarchy "/" and then shut it down. Then restarted FileZilla and it opened where I had left it "/". I don't think that is an issue and I know manually I have to open the folder I wish to work on, and to upload any of my scrips or files I know to use.
I am with GoDaddy and as far as I know public_html/ is the webserver's equivalent to my hosting komokaweather.com/ i.e- public_html/cumulusmx is the same as url www.komokaweather.com/cumulusmx, and similar for any of my other programs that FTP to my website.
From your postings on the FTP log I don't understand how s9.cpcloud.com.au enters in the picture,
nor /home/jeffbart/public_html/cumulus/realtimegauges.txttmp as your hosting is jeffbartlett
Beyond my understanding...
Paul

Re: FTP feed for web site
I have totally emptied the public_html directory, the only thing of relevance in there was the cumulus directory, there were a lot of experiments that could and have been gotten rid of.
So that public_html folder, only has 1 sub directory, cumulus, totally reinstalled with only the 3 basic folders images, js and lib and the cascaded weatherstyle.css file.
It did take a while when I restarted the Cumulus MX, watching the ftp log, to get up but unfortunately till now, still no creation or upload of any web files, that have been updated in the web folder, being uploaded to the server.

Re: FTP feed for web site
It has to be the start of the upload path that is incorrect ..
To please an old beteljuice please try in cumulus remote settings:
/public_html/cumulus/
If you can't find anything anywhere, try it without the trailing /

Re: FTP feed for web site
You know, I tried that earlier in the piece, but not since I totally cleaned out that public_html folder. Guess what, the top prize goes to betlejuice. Thanks for reminding about that fix. UP AND RUNNING.

Re: FTP feed for web site
Looks like it's up running now, although from http://www.jeffbartlett.org/cumulus/index.htm
Not just http://www.jeffbartlett.org/index.htm
Depending on your hosting service you could just leave it there & setup a Sub-domain to point in that direction.
Much like how http://weather.inverellit.com/ simply point back to http://inverellit.com/weather/
Gather from the locality & Lat & Long that you are about 2 hours South from the above site.
Cheers.
