OK, keep me posted - the good news is that live capture should now be working, but historic catch-up will probably not.

Whilst I am pretty good at PC stuff, the Mac is something of a mystery to me. I'll need to rummage around in his network settings to see why he has so many addresses attached. I could give it a static IP, but I'm not sure if I can path a port through to a specific IP, the drop down in the router had loads of net names to select from.
I'll keep you updated.

What is odd is the time gap between 12:35 and 12:54 - there is no missing data on the weatherlink page to match the gap.
