Sending data to Weather Cloud

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Sending data to Weather Cloud

Post by Vegit8 »

Having recently upgraded to MX from Cumulus, I am having difficulties with my upload to WeatherCloud. https://app.weathercloud.net/d9318973706#evolution

I am getting different error messages

Weather cloud says - Returned data is in error: in its log file
Whilst MX says - WeatherCloud Response: Unauthorized: 401

Obviously the MX error is indicating an authorisation issue, but I have checked the Key and ID and all are well, plus WC is indicating that updates are hitting it, due to the last update time being fairly up to date.

I have changed nothing in the data file and it's contents appear to be fine.

Anyone else had similar problems - which they have resolved?

Other than this post I don't know anything much about Weather Cloud uploads. From the page you linked it looks like the data isn't being updated in the wc file.

As per the post above, have you checked that the text file is being properly created and the contents is updating?

Hi
Thanks for that
Seems very odd that deleting and doing another install fixes the problem, but that is what worked for me too.

I did search the forum before posting and missed that post somehow.
